Indra, also known as Indra Vajra, is a mutant character in the Marvel Comics universe. He first appeared in Young X-Men #1 (2008). Hailing from India, Indra's mutant power manifests as the ability to psionically generate a powerful, golden, exoskeletal armor around himself.

Before his powers manifested, Indra was a child prodigy, known for his advanced knowledge of mathematics and science. After developing his mutant abilities, he was recruited by Cyclops to join a new team of Young X-Men. He was initially portrayed as a naive and somewhat sheltered individual due to his young age and prior isolation.

Indra's time with the Young X-Men was short-lived as the team faced numerous challenges and betrayals. Despite the hardships, Indra proved to be a dedicated and powerful member. Later appearances depict him striving to control his abilities and navigate the complex landscape of mutant politics and survival.
